Die aktuellen Entwicklungsergebnisse und -charts aus der Blogosphere wurden vor kurzem wieder im Technorati Blog präsentiert. Und wie man sieht, es ist keine Verlangsamung in Sicht.

Interessant finde ich, dass sich unter den Top 100 Sites die den sogenannten 'short head' ausmachen inzwischen 12 Blogs finden - in den Top 50 immerhin 3 davon (Engadget, Boing Boing und Xujingle).

Wie Dave Sifry so schön sagt The State of the Blogosphere continues to be strong.

was tun, wenn man von einer sache felsenfest überzeugt war und plötzlich ist doch alles anders!?
möglichkeit A: an sich selbst zweifeln
möglichkeit B: hinnehmen und einen neuen versuch starten
möglichkeit C: bleiben lassen

die antwort liegt auf der hand. die umsetzung ist leider etwas schwerer. aber gut, hat ja auch keiner behauptet, dass es leicht wird.

Das neue Coca-Cola light rocks!

Zugegeben, war ich früher nicht ein großer light Fan, finde ich den neuen Geschmack wirklich gut und kaum anders als das normale Coke.
Somit eines meiner absoluten Favourites für diesen heißen Sommer!

Ein weiteres, alt bewährtes, Lieblingsgetränk: Holundersaft gespritzt!

Marketing affront

Besides all the abundantly merchandising and advertising activities around the World Cup I found some very creative and surprisingly courageous branding activities introduced by the Coca-Cola company as part of the World Cup sponsorship. Not only do they support the hype on Panini stickers by trading virtual football licensed stickers through the Coca-Cola "We All Speak Football" Web site available in more than 10 languages. But even more fascinating is their on the field marketing activity: They provide field boards in the stadia with the Coca-Cola font changing their colors - accordingly to the current playing team colors (as the picture below showing). This certainly drives traffic to the brand and expands marketing strategy and sponsorship in a good way.

In my opinion this is a huge step towards an open-minded market communication and Coke is pushing some innovative ideas - remembering times when for example the color blue wasn't even allowed in advertisements (fearing it could cause any confusion with the competitors corporate color). Being aware that creativity is the crucial point in an event like the World Cup with hundreds of advertisements and branding initiatives I suppose Coke is taking the right way..

Ein unglaubliches Spiel, dass die Elfenbeinküste am Samstag lieferte. Die routinierten Argentinier sind zwar als Sieger aus dem Spiel gegangen, dennoch fand ich den Auftritt der Afrikaner bemerkenswert.
Ja, ich muss schon sagen, die WM hat eine gewisse Faszination. Hat mal erst mal den Hype in Deutschland miterlebt, ist es wirklich nachvollziehbar warum es Volkssport heißt. Eine unglaubliche Dynamik geht von allen Seiten aus, Zuschauer, Organisatoren, Sponsoren und natürlich die Sportler scheinen nur noch für den Fußball zu leben. Und eben das reißt einen mit. Klar, gibt es immer einige, die rein gar nichts damit anfangen können und sich kategorisch aus dem ganzen raushalten. Aber ich muss ganz ehrlich sagen, fad fand ich den Sport nie und mit dem ganzen Rummel und den vielen aufgeregten Fans bekommt die ganze Sache eine sehr herzliche und spannende Seite..

Weisse Flecken auf der Landkarte

Schön. Hier kann man die Länder anklicken, die man schon mal besucht hat und bekommt eine Landkarte erstellt, die bereits besuchte Länder rot markiert.

So ist dann schön zu sehen, wo man noch überall hin mus.. :)

ich fasse es nicht - kann denn dieses wetter wahr sein!?!?!?!? der wetterbericht zeigt gerade wolken und 10 C an. am 28.Mai!!! vor ein paar tagen habe ich mir noch hier bei 26 C die sonne auf den bauch scheinen lassen und die klimaanlage im auto musste voll aufgedreht werden. und das liegt am gleichen kontinent, oder? wir sprechen hier nicht von einer anderen hemisphäre! das ist unser nachbarland! wie kann es da einen unterschied von zwei jahreszeiten geben!?!?!?

Time running

Busy busy busy. Incredibly busy lately. It's sad I cannot find time to do some of the reporting here as I wished to. However, good things are keeping me busy and a very cool project is coming up. Despite of all the crazy World Cup fever going around I cannot get enough of it and the reason is this.
In a couple of weeks the World Cup starts and that is also when some really cool bloggers and vloggers will come to Berlin to live in an amazing rooftop apartment and blog it. Lyssa , Gabe and Gabe from xolo.tv and Anil from mobuzz TV will report live about the games, atmosphere and life in Berlin. Can't wait to see them gettin' started!

Another reason I find myself floating away is the restructuring of my own homebase. But so far, I will not give away too much and surprise you with some before and after pics. Just one little hint - I will have at least some summer feeling at home in contrast to the winterly temperatures outside..

Ich verabschiede mich für das Wochenende nach Paris wo ich meine Tante treffe und diesmal hoffentlich endlich dazu komme in den Louvre zu gehen. Vor allem jetzt, wo ich den Da Vinci Code gelesen habe ;)

Schon immer ein Mini Fan gewesen und jetzt erst recht! Zugegeben, lange Zeit dachte ich ja, der neue Mini kann nicht annähernd rankommen an den alten Mini. Aber wenn ich mir diesen kleinen Flitzer ansehe, dann könnte ich wohl schon schwach werden... und eines Tages, ja, eines Tages - wer weiß... O.k. back to reality - letzte Woche startete unser schönes Projekt mit besagtem Autohersteller und macht sich ganz ganz fein - vblog by mini!

Während der AMI 2006 in Leipzig gibts live Berichte und Videocasts von Thomas Gigold, Gabriel McIntyre & Gabriel Bauer - natürlich über coole Autos und andere Männerträume..

Heue Abend findet das zweite Duell im italienischen Parlamentswahlkampf statt. Wie generell angenommen, geht es um entscheidende Wählerstimmen, denn noch viele Italiener sind unentschieden. Schade, dass wir RAI nicht empfangen können - zu gerne würde ich mir diese wirklich spannende Politik Machung ansehen..

Zwei besonders amüsante Aspekte bei diesem Duell gibts auch - zum einen werden im Studio keine Zuschauer zugelassen, weil die Zusammenstellung bzw. Einigung über die Zuschauerauswahl unüberwindlich wäre und zum anderen werden Rekordeinschaltquoten erwartet, [..die sonst nur bei Spielen der italienischen Fußball-Nationalmannschaft erzielt werden].

The Guardian brings a highly fascinating article on Iran's major offensive regarding the usage of blogs within the purview of a new government office.

[...] In a speech during the closing ceremony of the first Festival for Islamic Revolutionary Blogs and Websites, co-sponsored by the ministry of culture, Mr Harandi celebrated the fact that everyone in Iran could now comment on current issues and "speak like a president"...

Now how surprising is that!? Only a while ago, people where arrested for running a blog... Well, if the intention really is to encourage people to share and public their opinion, lots of controversial discussions and comments can be expected - presuming no censorship at all...
I am eager to follow the reactions from the Iranian (existing) blogosphere on this sudden move.
